Revolution to Republic: The American Experiment
Updated: Sep 1

As the United States commemorates the 250th anniversary of its independence, Revolution to Republic: The American Experiment explores the dramatic events that transformed thirteen British colonies into a new nation. Through engaging graphics, historic reproductions, maps, portraits, and interpretive panels, visitors follow the story from the competing empires of the mid-1700s through the French and Indian War, the growing conflict between Britain and its colonies, the Declaration of Independence, the Revolutionary War, and the creation of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Designed as a portable traveling exhibit, this visually engaging display brings America's founding era to life. Ideal for museums, libraries, schools, universities, civic centers, and community organizations, the exhibit offers a compelling and accessible way to engage audiences in the ideas, challenges, and achievements that shaped the United States. Available for temporary display as part of America 250 programming, Revolution to Republic invites visitors to reflect on the enduring legacy of the American experiment.
